I learned to read charts from my grandmother. She read them the old way, one person at a time, at her kitchen table, for anyone in the village who came to her with a heavy heart.

I did the same for years. And in all that time, I noticed something. Almost no one came to me asking who they were. They came asking about someone else. One name, said quietly, over and over. Is it him. Is it too late. Will she come back.

So I stopped reading people on their own. I started putting two charts side by side, the way my grandmother never did, to read the tie between them. That is all I have done since.

I read one thing only. Whether two people are still meant to find their way to each other. I will not tell you what you want to hear. I will tell you what I see in the two charts, gently, and honestly, because that is the only kind of reading worth having.

How the reading works
